Welcome to Briary Primary School. We are a thriving and varied school community who value all of our children’s many talents whether they be academic, sporting, creative or otherwise. Briary Primary School was judged as GOOD in all areas by OfSTED in November 2013, with the following comment

“Pupils in all classes make faster progress than in most other schools”

The school continues to improve in all areas, gaining the Healthy Schools award, Eco-School Green Flag status and Extended Schools status.

Children at Briary make good progress. Our latest SATs Results were as follows:-

In KS1

  • 80% made at least L2B in Reading
  • 88% made at least L2B in Maths
  • 67% made at least L2B in Writing

In KS2

  • 86% made at least expected progress in Reading
  • 100% made at least expected progress in Writing
  • 72% made at least expected progress in Maths
