Learning from Home - Term 6

Welcome back to Learning from Home, we hope that you and your families have been able to have something of a break and been able to enjoy the sunshine. We are now beginning to take our first few tentative back to normality. Some children are returning to school whilst others remain at home. These pages are designed for those staying at home but very much reflect the learning going on in school.

Learning from Home is quite intensive and we are conscious that many of you are trying to do this whilst also working from home yourselves. For this reason, we have simplified our approach and will be giving you a wide range of activities that your children could engage with. There is no expectation that you do all of these. If you are able to support your child to do some reading, some writing and some mental arithmetic each day, that would be amazing. Don't forget: reading includes reading to them; writing could include drawing or anything that helps fine motor skills (cutting, threading, playdough, sewing etc); arithmetic could be counting backwards and forwards, simple addition facts, times tables rock stars or playing shops.

Remember - children come in all shapes and sizes and so does their learning!

Our Facebook Parent Support Pages remain open for you to ask questions and share what your children have been up to.
